Why people need bulk deletion in Google Calendar
Deleting events one click at a time is fine for a stray reminder. It falls apart when a day is full: stand-ups, hold slots, cancelled travel, leftover interviews, or a work calendar you finally have time to clean.
- Google has no “delete this timeslot” control You can remove events one by one, or hunt through a series. There is no built-in bulk delete for “everything this afternoon on this calendar.”
- A full day of meetings should not take a full day to clean If you need to delete many events in Google Calendar - a blocked morning, a conference day, an old week you never cleared - selecting a slot and confirming is faster and harder to mess up.

How GCal Cleaner works
The app talks to Google Calendar from your browser. You stay in control: nothing is deleted until you confirm, and anything you uncheck is left on the calendar.
Pick a calendar, day, and slot
Choose one writable calendar. Read-only calendars are listed but disabled. Then pick a single day and a timeslot: full day, morning, afternoon, evening, or custom from/to.
Preview, then bulk delete
Events that overlap the slot start checked. Uncheck anything to keep. Confirm, and GCal Cleaner removes the rest. Recurring events follow the mode you selected.

The list is a checklist, not a blind wipe. Name filter and page-level check/uncheck help when there are dozens of events in the slot.
Recurring events, on purpose
This day only, this and following, or entire series. You set the mode before you delete - so a weekly meeting is not silently destroyed unless you ask for that.
No guest notification email
Deletes use Google’s sendUpdates=none. People on the event do not get a cancellation mail from this cleanup.
Frontend only
There is no GCal Cleaner server sitting on your calendar. The page in your browser calls Google directly. A paid plan may come later; the current app is free.

Can I bulk delete Google Calendar events?
Yes. GCal Cleaner lists the events that fall in a chosen day and timeslot so you can bulk delete many Google Calendar events in one confirm step. Uncheck anything you want to keep first.
Can I delete many events in Google Calendar for a whole morning or day?
Yes. Pick a full day, morning, afternoon, evening, or a custom from/to time. Only events that overlap that slot are selected for bulk deletion. All-day events are included only when you choose the full day.
Does bulk deletion work with recurring Google Calendar events?
Yes. You can remove repeating events for this day only, this day and following occurrences, or the entire series.
Will guests be emailed when I bulk delete calendar events?
No. GCal Cleaner deletes with sendUpdates=none, so Google Calendar does not email guests about the removals.
Do you store my Google Calendar on a server?
No. GCal Cleaner is a frontend-only app. Your browser talks to Google. Access tokens stay in this browser’s local storage. There is no GCal Cleaner backend holding your events.
Can I clean a work or shared Google Calendar?
If you can edit it (owner or writer), yes. Calendars you can only view stay listed but cannot be cleaned. GCal Cleaner works on one writable calendar at a time.
Is GCal Cleaner free?
The app is free to use today. A paid plan may be added later. Connecting Google is still required because deletions go through your account.
